Actress and comedian Grace Reiter has officially joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for season 52. Reiter has been in the spotlight since 2019, making her debut on TikTok. She eventually grew her platform to the sketch comedy account, American High Shorts. Since then, she has grown to have over four million followers on TikTok, a leading role in the movie titled “First Time Female Director” and the parody short-film “Hunger Games (But Better)”.
Previous Projects
She also launched a podcast, titled “That’s Enough With Grace Reiter”, which held a live recording at New York Comedy Festival in 2025. Reiter has since starred in the Off-Broadway production of “Ginger Twinsies” and the Netflix original miniseries “Minimum Wage”.
“SNL” Debut
Earlier this month, it was announced that Reiter made the final cut for casting of season 52 of SNL. With this hire, Reiter becomes the first cast member born in the 2000s, in the 21st century and in the 3rd millennium. Her debut episode aired on September 26th, hosted by Jalen Brunson and with the musical guest Katsye. Reiter made an appearance in two sketches, titled “Old Friend” and “Dream Academy”.
Many longtime fans have shared their opinion on Reiter’s debut, expressing their excitement for her upcoming season.
